Cobb has a lot of packing/shipping/distribution errors based on the forum chatter I've seen. They seem to be really good about making things right when they screw up, but you'd think they'd be all over fixing the actual source of the problem.

The exhaust is top notch though.

No short shifter and tune?

Already Cobb stage 2 with intake/intercooler/AP. I don't think I'm going to touch the shifter. If anything I might extend it towards the driver since it's such a long reach to grab 5th.

The shorter throw will help that.

it will definitely fit, they're basically the same car...

but really was that on the packing slip, because boxes get mixed up/reused

Yeah, I opened the box to confirm, It's a dual exhaust system and shipping weight was 60 pounds. A bit much for a baby FiST exhaust system.

does that system cost more?

you could be an ass and not tell Cobb they messed up sell that system at a profit and order another.....

It costs over $500 more. I considered that but I didn't want to deal with trying to sell anything. They're overnighting the correct exhaust.

I'm about 96% positive a FiST is my next car (to be purchased this month.)

A few questions:

1. Is the back seat usable? How about for people under the age of 10?

2. Do I really need the Recaros or is that just a waste of $2k?

3. Does Ford still give out the free trip to the Octane Academy with purchase?

1. With the driver seat positioned for myself (6'2"), the back seat is unusable if you're over 5'6" or so. It can comfortably fit 3 average sized adults, including myself.

2. I like the Recaros, but I fit perfectly. I'm 6'2" 180 lbs. I'd recommend sitting in them for 20 minutes or more to get a feel for them. A couple of my heavyset friends despise them.
